About SendPrint
Business correspondence address: Ennals Pool, Chapel Lane, Trethurgy, Cornwall, PL26 8YE.
SendPrint is an online UK printing and postal fulfilment service operated under the SendPrint trading name. The business operating SendPrint is responsible for the purposes and means of processing customer information. For privacy enquiries, email hello@sendprint.co.uk.
Information we collect
When you place an order, we collect your email address, the recipient name and postal address, your uploaded document or composed letter, printing and postage selections, order reference and transaction status. We also handle customer support messages and limited technical information needed for fraud prevention and site security.
Your correspondence may contain confidential information or personal data about other people. We process this only as needed for fulfilment and lawful support purposes.
How and why we use information
We use information to provide the service you request: checking documents, calculating prices, taking payment, printing, posting, providing receipts and order updates, responding to enquiries and meeting legal obligations. We may also use limited technical information to protect the service and investigate abuse. We do not sell your correspondence or use its contents for behavioural advertising.
Legal bases
We rely on performance of a contract to fulfil orders, legitimate interests for necessary security, fraud prevention and recipient delivery data, and legal obligations for appropriate record keeping. Where consent is legally required, such as for optional marketing or non-essential cookies, we will seek it. Documents can contain sensitive personal information; additional legal conditions and safeguards may apply depending on the information and our role in processing it.
Third-party service providers
We use Cloudflare for website infrastructure and document storage, Stripe for payment processing and Intelliprint for printing and postal fulfilment. Printing and postal providers receive the document and postal address necessary to process the order. Transactional email services may deliver order messages. We do not store full payment-card details on our servers. Where information is transferred outside the UK, applicable legal safeguards must be used.
Document security
We use HTTPS, access controls and protected credentials to safeguard customer information. Authorised processing systems and fulfilment partners must access correspondence where needed to print and send it. No online system is entirely risk-free.
Data retention
Unpaid drafts: Typically expire after about 24 hours and are removed by scheduled housekeeping. Completed orders: Uploaded documents may remain securely stored while we administer and investigate the order; an automatic deletion deadline for completed documents is not yet in operation. We are reviewing retention arrangements and can consider deletion requests subject to legal and operational needs. Necessary payment and order records may be retained for accounting, disputes, customer support and legal obligations. Certain upload-check and postcode-lookup logs are cleared after approximately two days, although other operational logs and service-provider records have their own retention arrangements.
Cookies and international processing
The website and payment process may use essential security, transaction and fraud-prevention technologies. If optional tracking requiring consent is introduced, we will provide the relevant information and choices. Some service providers operate internationally; relevant UK data protection transfer safeguards apply.
Your privacy rights
Where applicable, you may ask to access, correct or delete personal information, object to or restrict processing, request portability or withdraw consent. Legal exceptions may apply. Contact hello@sendprint.co.uk. You may also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Recipients, children and updates
Recipient names and addresses are used for postage and related support, not unrelated marketing. The service is intended principally for adults. We may revise this notice as our service and processing change; the date above shows the latest revision.
