How to send UK mail while overseas
You might need to send a tenancy letter, a formal notice, an original-looking printed copy of an ordinary document, or a personal letter. With an online service you do not need a local printer, British stamps or a trip to a post office.
The letter enters the Royal Mail network in the UK. That may be more convenient than arranging international postage, but delivery is still subject to the postage service selected.
- Prepare your letter in a document or use the write-and-paste option.
- Enter the complete UK destination address, including postcode.
- Preview the pages and select one of the available Royal Mail services.
- Pay online and retain your order reference and any dispatch updates.
If you are serving legal documents from overseas, check the relevant court or authority rules first. Postal service alone does not establish legally valid service.
